I had my hysterectomy on Friday. Things went well, but my uterus was 3x bigger than it was suppose to be. Lots of cramping, on pain meds. Overall I feel weak and tired, but a lot less bloated. I had adenomyosis. I didn't any bladder problems like I thought I would. Even though recovery hurts a lot, I feel like I did the right thing which was to have the surgery.

Get a heating pad it helps with cramping after surgery. Get Gas-X it helps with gas after the surgery as welI. If you're a side sleeper a body pillow helps also. Do things you enjoy because chores and activities that require bending down and squatting won't happen without hurting yourself on the inside of your body at least for a few weeks maybe longer. Good luck to you. Think positive.
