I have been suffering with the most chronic lower back pain today. I’m Day 3 of my period and it literally feels like someone is inside my body, sitting on my lower back. I cried in front of my workmates today cause it hurt so much😢 what pain relief do people use? Co-codamol isn’t touching the pain and nurofen isn’t any good. I have a heat pad constantly attached to me which helps a little.
Does anyone else suffer with horrific cramps and lower back pain in the week leading up to their period? This month has been really bad and I lost count of the number of times I went running to the loo cause I was convinced i’d started and there was absolutely nothing there😫
Feeling so fed up with this. I have a gynae app next week and I am praying they listen to me and help xxx

I can sympathise, I suffer chronic back pain nearly daily maybe out of month I will have 5 days I don’t feel it, sharp pain goes right to my front and in the last few months getting pain in my hip.
I take co -codamol and neurofen too, use a hot water bottle. I know the feeling it grinds you down! Hugs x
I feel your pain!!!! This is exactly how I felt in the lead up and during my period and then during ovulation. After a flare up of endo last year I ended up with daily pain 😭. I had one doctor tell me that it couldn't possibly be from the endometriosis and I needed to do intensive exercise.
I had physiotherapy which helped to some extent and have to do stretching exercises. The only real relief I felt was when I started decapeptyl (sorry for spelling) in December and the relief was almost immediate. I also get someone to do "intensive" stretching with me once a month which helps keep me more mobile
Don't let the doctors fob you off and tell you it's not connected.
I always have a hot water bottle and take the 400g ibuprofen tablets... also try and keep your back straight (I know this is so hard to do)... if you have an office chair at your work sit with your back straight and place a hot water bottle of heat pack between you and the chair I’m always doing this at work ..
