Spotting after surgery

Hey guys,

How long is it normal to be spotting a Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy?

I have been bleeding since my op on Saturday (3 days now). It’s not loads but I would say it’s moderate. I was told it’s normal to bleed after but there must be a time when it’s not normal.

Hi Kim,

I had a laparoscopy 3 weeks ago and I bled for around 8 days. I wouldn’t worry too much unless it becomes heavy, contains clots, or you are in a lot of pain. I also had a lap and hysteroscpy 2 years ago and I remember I bled more than with just a lap. Hope this helps a little x
