Yes!! My periods are SO unbelievably painful, much lighter now I’ve had a lap done however they are now 10x more painful than before and I cannot do anything thing for at least the first two days I find myself constantly phoning in work and crying the days away because nothing takes it away! I got the mirena fitted on the 15th and I have had nothing but cramping and bleeding since but I’m hoping once it dies down I will feel much better on this and hopefully won’t have periods at all!! Other than that I’ve tried everything else and nothing works for me. Sorry I know you needed help and this definitely isn’t it but just wanted you to know you aren’t alone in how you are feeling and I’m here if you want to message me at any point hun Xxx
I’m like nearly crying in the bath. My back and lower stomach hurt so much however I have light bleeding most months.
I also have what feels like a swollen pubic area like where the ovaries are etc. I have this all month but it becomes even more tender during my period and swollen.
I know during a pelvic exam the gynae said I have tenderness in the ovary area on both sides but didn’t say anything else xx
Im the same the now too, ive taken loads of painkillers without my effect and for a hot water bottle to give any relief its so hot my stomach gets burnt. I wish there was a magic pill out there that would take all our pain away and the docs would actually prescribe it. I hope you start feeling better soon!
I never found any thing that really worked either, though curling up in a ball in bed is comforting. I just mentally brace myself breathe, groan if I have to , sigh and ride it out , i try to drink a lot of water which helps and I remind myself it will pass . I'm lucky in that the worst bit never lasts more than about half a day to a day for me then it's manageable levels again.
