If by ‘the test’ you mean the ca125 bloodtest, then yes, I’ve had it. It is NOT a definitive test... in fact levels can be raised with all sorts of abdominal inflammation. Mine was raised to 473, and it was done as I had suspicious masses on ovary, normal is below 35) but I did not have cancer. The only absolute confirmation of OC is from biopsy. My diagnosis is grade 4 endo

My ovaries were removed as engulfed by endometriomas and yes, biopsies done after surgery. I was seen urgently by gynae oncology after an mri picked up that one growth had an unexpected structure. I had several other scans and another mri before they concluded that it was likely to just be the endometriomas after all

Well I’d say it’s good I didn’t have cancer but endometriosis is still just as cruel

I had never even heard of endometriosis when I got diagnosed. I got a call from my gp while at work and she said we’re not 100% sure what it is but the good news is you don’t have cancer! I hadn’t even googled my symptoms so wasn’t aware that this was even a possibility.

Yea I read a little about it basically just the facts and none of the real bad shit so I knew I possibly had it before I was told it was likely. And then when I done research and cane on here I was like wtf my Gp never gave me any idea of how it can be.

I had a CA125, it was high, I don’t have ovarian cancer, I have endometriosis diagnosed. I wouldn’t do the CA125 it just makes you panic

Yea I know and I know it sounds dumb but some days I’m like if thos is how I’m gonna be I’d rather have cancer Cos least they can remove it and there’s a better chance it not returning and I’d rather be dead than live like this
