scared first time need answers

Having surgery in 4weeks I had blood filled cyst that burst😖 I'm confused why there still doing surgery and it's not key hole it's through stomach anyone give me a clearer reason all I got from doctors was it's complex x

If they’re performing a laparotomy it could be because the field wouldn’t be clear enough to perform keyhole due to the blood filled cyst bursting, and if they find another and it bursts, it might make controlling it a lot easier, make sure you ask questions before you go down to theatre if you have any questions or concerns, fingers crossed it goes to plan hun x
