Hi I have got endometriosis I have tried everything going now my gp can't help me no more but it getting worse now I can't have sex cos every time I do I bleed so bad I am at the mins with pain and been bleeding now for 2 day bright red blood now I am worried

Oww this sounds horrible. Have you tried ringing 111? If you are getting bleeding every time you have sex you might need a scan internally? That's what my gynea referred me for when I had the same.

Do you get pain too? Painkillers before sex and a hot water bottle to handfor afterwards is what we had to Do. Not the sexiest of foreplay getting the hitwater bottle out but worked for me for a while.

Really hope you feel better soon, this is such a horrid illness.

I would go to see your GP or gynaecologist as soon as you can xxxx

Thank u I will try that I went the gynaecologist she has put me in to see someone else but I have to wait until the end of March but it's just getting worse xx

Have you had the doc look at your cervix? there could be endo there that's not helping when you have sex. I had cervical ectropion (cells from further inside the cervix appear at the base, these are more sensitive) that caused bleeding and pain just after sex; so there could be other causes worth looking into.

It's part of you, and sadly doctors don't see sex as essential, or that problems with it can affect relationships and your own self confidence.

Have you looked at having surgery to remove some endo? or is that not an option?

I have surgery but it's just got worse tried to see a specialist but have to wait until the end of March the go can't help me they say u just have to wait to see the specialist x
