Yes, me and yes I believe they are linked in the way that endometriosis causes hormonal imbalance thus polycystic ovaries xx

I also have both and agree with Ajeff123.

Hi

I have both, I have seen posts of some women saying they have both some just seem to have one or the other but I’m not a 100% sure if they are linked or not xx

Yes, I also have both and consultant suggested this is common. As if one or the other isn’t enough. Good luck xx

I have never really been given much info on either of these I have only seen how common it is from being on this site. I know it’s hard enough having one of these to deal with. Good luck to you also xx

Hello,

I have PCOS and still trying to determine if I have endometriosis :/

Regardless if both my transvaginal ultrasound scan and MRI do not show endometriosis, I am tired of being constantly fobbed off with IBS (this includes both NHS & Private routes) I still consider that I am at risk, specially given that my mother also had endometrioisis which was detected when she had a hysterectomy for something else.

Wondering then if all this is related? Doctors are proving useless and I'm now into my 2nd year of suffering with no treatment plan, just left to suffer in silence :-(

Hello Amyjane88, apologies for late reply. Not yet, but it's on my list as a possibility. The gynae I have seen is aware of this, regardless he referred me to a gastro first as he saw too many gastro/bowel symptoms and thought best to approach this route. However I honestly see it as a mere delaying tactic because even if I do have IBS, that's not to say it's not triggered or connected to endo. So far people suffering from this know too well that the cause of IBS is unknown (despite several "theories") and there is effectively no cure. To make matters worse my case is complex and a "grey area" both in my opinion as well as confirmed by the gastro specialist. And even now my NHS GP is almost convinced it could be endo (it only took him over a year and a half to reach that conclusion!!!)

Thanks for asking the question :-)
