Having pain very day all day and worse when I wake in morning. Contemplating going to Gp just to double check it’s not related to endo. But, is this a common thing? I’m over it it’s everyday

I have interstitial cystitis. My understanding is that because of endo on bladder it creates shears and tears resulting in interstitial cystitis. Some times I’m better and other times it’s worse. Right now it is horrible. I feel similar symptoms of UTI... frequency yet delay in being able to urinate, not able to completely empty bladder, intermittent pressure and pain. I take AZO for discomfort and AZO cranberry tablets to help reduce discomfort.
How did u find out u had it? The cystitis? Can it be found via scan?
I would not recommend the test I had. It was at my OBGyn office with his Np at the time. It’s called Potassium sensitivity test. Your doctor places (instills) two solutions — water and potassium chloride — into your bladder, one at a time. You're asked to rate on a scale of 0 to 5 the pain and urgency you feel after each solution is instilled. If you feel noticeably more pain or urgency with the potassium solution than with the water, your doctor may diagnose interstitial cystitis. People with normal bladders can't tell the difference between the two solutions.
Doesn’t it just sound stupid? It is! This is before I knew to question medical professionals and just did whatever they told me to do!
It was horribly painful! On a scale of 0-5, I would rate my pain at 10. I don’t ever say 10. My bladder went into spasms after this assessment. Of course your bladder is going to be sensitive if you have had surgery to remove a disease off of it. At the time I had the potassium test, I had already completed 3 laparoscopic surgeries.
