I don’t know what I should do

Hellow friends. I am having a problem here. I didn’t know where else to share it. So, I am sharing it with you. I am a shy woman so I don’t share such things with my friends or family

I am 22-year-old. I got married last year with my boy-friend. We are still studying. We decided that we will have a baby after we complete our studies. But there is an issue now.

For a few months, my menstrual cycle was disturbed. I was having a cycle of 24 days which didn’t seem normal to me. Moreover, I had severe pain during periods. It was way too much worse than normal period crams. I went to see a doctor. I got to know that I have mild endometriosis. My doctor has suggested me to have a baby as soon as we can. Because if we will delay, there is a risk that my condition will get severe. It will leave me infertile.

I don’t know what I should do. We don’t want to have a baby yet. We want to get settled in life first.

I think all the research I've seen certainly points to infertility only in severe endometriosis. How does your doctor know you have mild endometriosis? Have you had a laparoscopy to confirm this?
