Endo Symptoms after child birth?

Hey everyone I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant with my first child. Tried 3 years before I was diagnosed with Endo so went private to a specialist to have it removed and the first month post op got pregnant :-D. I was looking for anyone in a similar situation to ask how long it took for the symptoms to come back? One of my good friends was in a similar situation and she has only just recently started to get pain again and that's been over a year. I'm hoping by some miracle I can keep it at bay until we have had our second child (if we can) so I don't need to go through another surgery x

I had my baby four months ago and the endo pain has came back worse than ever and in more places! Honestly horrific! Luckily getting another lap in Feb. Hopefully yours stays a bay! Xxx

Did you have surgery before you fell pregnant? Did you go back on some form of contraceptive right after birth? xx

Yeah had a couple of laps before and yes back in the pill before I fell pregnant I was due to get my third lap but fell pregnant so couldn't, he did tell me I will either be pain free or can go the other way due to the surge in hormones after a baby and mine had defo gone the wrong way! You might be lucky though did take four months though xxx

That was my first lap to remove endometriosis when I had mine via a specialist and the next month fell pregnant. If I comes back quickly then there is nothing I can do really but the massive endometriomas were what caused the problems with me as it stuck my dominant ovary to my bowel and after the hormones being pumped in with my failed IVF I was in constant pain. Here's hoping it stays at bay for longer than 4 months as mine wasn't a severe case to begin with but I had been symptomatic for 6 years before diagnosis x
