Hi all,

I hope your all doing well and not suffering from this horrible disease too much.

I seen my GP today for my regular monthly check up (she is amazing) she went on a course recently and brought my case up at the course.

She has decided she thinks the Sayana press will be good for me she is speaking with the other doctors at the practice and then I have an appointment to be shown how to do it then I have to inject myself every 10 weeks. I am currently on the depo but she thinks this will benefit me more as I can’t be on the depo long term.

Anyone else had any experience with this before it’s all new to me so I’m all ears and any tips would be appreciated.

Lots of love xx

I have been on the sayana press and it worked wonders for me. Easy to do once you get the initial panic of injecting yourself over with! Less drs appointment which is always a bonus and it made my periods go from extremely heavy and painful and so long to only spotting. Granted there was still pain, but when isn't there with endo? :\ i did the mistake of thinking wow my periods have got so much better i don't actually need to use this! Then went off it and gone back to square one. As I sit here in pain at the moment with a hot water bottle and a blanket wrapped round me. I'm now thinking of either going back to that or having the depo. Hope everything goes well with your choice! :)
