Hi I'm 20 and have severe pain and bleeding most of the time have tried mefenamic acid and tranexamic with no joy have just had first injection of zoladex and tibolone tablets , I feel so sick and my stomach is huge and painful has anyone else experienced this

Yes I do take Mefenamic Acid whenever the pains get too severe but I try not to take it quiet often due to the fear of the negative association of the Kidneys with NSAIDs.

It does workbut I think its slow in action. I haven't noticed any side effect so far. Even though, I take only about 5 doses every month.

Am having cramps right now, especially when my Bladder is full. My abdomen is distended too.

Hi Donna,

Hope things have improved for you! I’m about to have my 5th Zoladex injection and can assure you that from my perspective the pain doesn’t last. After my 1st one I was in agony for several days and once that passed I haven’t had any major issues. I do however get a swollen pregnancy looking belly right before I have the injection and right after for a few days but nothing a baggy jumper doesn’t hide. Unfortunately everytime I have had the injection I have experienced cramping after but if I’m honest I wouldn’t even describe it as anything serious. Not even a mild period pain so for me it’s a huge relief. I would suggest you persevere until your 2nd/3rd at least.

As I said I’ve had them several months now and I think they are great! I’m 25 and was so stressed with endo but for the minute it’s going well. If you have any questions or need someone to talk to feel free to message me!

Thank you so much for replying, did you get any vomiting after the injection it comes on all of a sudden with me and I feel like I'm going to faint?

Yes I did for the 1st one felt very nauseous and as weird as this sounds my whole body felt strange 🙈
