Kidney Pain

Sorry to keep posting, but I am just curious if others suffer in similar ways to me.

I have been having awful kidney pain for about 6 months now with recurrent UTIs.

Does anyone else suffer this way?

Yeah I've had the same issues with UTIs I believe mine is secondary to bowel endo (which causes constipation which in turn can make you more at risk of UTI) but the consultant completely dismissed it so I'm awaiting a second opinion

Hi! I definitely have similar symptoms. In case useful, I had my first lap and they said I have no lesions sticking my internal organs together. I thought that might be a cause of the UT pain.

Yes I had this before I knew I had endo and was put on a 6 month low dose antibiotic which seemed to help. When I was diagnosed a couple years later my consultant said it would’ve all been connected to having endo as my bladder was stuck. I had a frozen pelvis so bowel, bladder, womb, ovaries, tubes etc.. we’re all stuck together.

I’ve recentky been suffering UTIs again each month since August, I just had my right ovary and tube removed last week and a load of adhesions cut away. My surgeon said my bladder wasn’t attached this time though. I have a very lazy bladder since my big op a few years back and sometimes need to self catheterise so now just putting the UTIs down to that but because I also get UTI symptoms sometimes with no infection, myself and my GP are also wondering if I have intistitual cystitis.

I’d say your UTIs could def be endo related.xx
