Hi all I'm new to this site and have only just been diagnosed. I'm 30 years old and have suffered with problems since I first ever started my periods. I had a short time in my early 20s where it seemed to go away and I thought it had finally sorted it self out but no sooner had I thought it it had started all over again. I've had many misscarages over the years and after I had one last year I decided enough is enough and went to my GP about all the problems it has taken a while but I have finally been diagnosed with endometriosis. I am waiting to see my GP to discuss what we can do from here. I am just so worried as me and my husband are only just married and maybe I've read into it to much but it says that it could cause problems getting pregnant and we would both love more kids. I did think something wasn't right as I have fallen pregnant but tend to lose the baby before 12 weeks it's very upsetting and I am now so scared and worried that we may not be able to have more. Has anyone had similar problems and gone on to have children or more children.

It absolutely can cause issues with conceiving and carrying a child. I suggest you speak with a reproductive endocrinologist (fertility doctor), not your GP. It sounds like need advice from someone who specialises in fertility.

Yes, it can cause problems with fertility but also now you know the problem you can seek help and advice. I had stage 5 endo and after operations and IVF went on to have twin girls ! Don’t panic and take one step a time. Everyone is different. I hope your journey isn’t a long one x
