Stubborn Cramps

Hi everyone, hope you had a good weekend

I’m on the contraceptive patch, and so far I had a few issues at the start like rashes and that sort of thing - this has all cleared now. But just this last period which started last Sunday and finished on Thursday, and I don’t usually get cramps once my period has finished (usually a week before) but it’s been 4 days now and I still have a constant ache. I keep thinking maybe it’s in my head but when I’m sitting it’s so present it can’t be in my head!

If you’ve seen my previous posts you’ll know that I’m awaiting a laparoscopy date, although my gynae has pretty much told me I have endometriosis.. I have all the other symptoms (heavy periods, very painful - I’ve passed out many times, blood in and when doing number 2’s, pain during intercourse).

I know this is common but I’m just looking for reassurance I guess 😞 getting super fed up of it all. Just seems bizarre that all of a sudden my cramps stay even after my period, baring in mind I’ve been suffering with this since I was 14 and I’m now 21!

Hey, sorry this is a little unrelated but I haven’t been diagnosed yet. However I have blood in my wee and number 2 during my period. Idk if this is normal or not tbh.

I have other signs like painful period, painful sex etc as well

So I had constant UTI’s for the past 3 years, I had a cystoscopy and I got the all clear. I’ve basically been told by my gynae that I either have endo on or in my bowel. If it’s on then they’ll scrape it off during my laparoscopy, if it’s in it then I would have to have bowel surgery... but that’s just what I’ve been told.

I’d definitely make sure you’re telling your gp everything! I was so embarrassed at first so I hid it and I regret it so much now
