I'm 1 month post excision surgery now and still have the same pelvic pain I had before my surgery. Someone please tell me it will go away soon? They told me at my post op appointment a week after surgery that it should settle down in the next few weeks...well I'm 3 weeks following that appointment and it's still there. I'm so upset about it, I can't help but think the surgery hasn't been a success. I can live with the pain if I have to, it's the worry about my fertility that is really upsetting. Everyone's getting pregnant around me, some for the second time since we have been trying, and feeling like my pain is still here makes me worry that that will mean I will never be a mummy!
I thinking reading stories of how women conceive immediately after excision has not helped my emotions, as I had focused all my attention on it happening now, and to think that isn't going to be the case is devastating after 3 years trying.

I had my surgery in April and I still get pain I had before the surgery however it's not as intense (only slightly less intense) I was so worried about my fertility too but when I went for my post op consultation they told me they did a fertility test. Maybe you could ask the consultant if they also did one for you and if so what were the results. Unfortunately with a condition like this pain is something we will always have to live with unless we're pregnant.
I wouldn't worry about not conceiving straight away everyone is different and your body may need just more time to settle and heal.
