I have a gyne appointment this morning! And it's the first one I've felt super nervous about for ages. If you've read my previous posts, I've been having alot of trouble with my bowels. When I had my lap last year, he found my right ovary and tube was stuck to my bowels with endo. I mentioned bowel problems to him last appointment and was told I needed to see my gp regarding that, But as it's endo related should he not be sorting it??
I'm 2 months out of trying my 6 month cycle of zoladex. It helped so much regarding pain but body wise, it ruined me.
My endo pains are back and I keep having a stabbing pain on my right side of my pelvis.
I'm so confused and don't know what to say in my appointment xx

You may find it helpful to ask to be referred to an endometriosis specialist if you are not already under the care of one, as not all gynaecologists
specialise in the condition.
A useful tool for finding a specialist in your area is the by looking on the British Society for
Gynaecological Endoscopy website. You can try and find a doctor in your area that has an interest in
endometriosis by having a look on bsge.org.uk and going to the ‘Endometriosis Treatment Centres’ link. Here you can search for accredited endometriosis treatment centres.
Once you have found a person who has an interest in endometriosis, you can ask to be referred to
them. It doesn’t matter if they are not in the hospital where you are currently being treated - with patient choice, you can be referred out of the area.
Thank you for responding Mary. I am having an mri scan next Monday. Then having to wait until 8th January for my results with my consultant. Then he did say he was putting a referall through to Birmingham.
Nervous for the scan as I've never had an mri before. Just fed up of one thing after another. I feel like as I've got older I'm getting more and different symptoms x
