Second week into first proslap injections

This is my second week after having the proslap injection for the first time. First week great... however early hours this morning I was woken but horrendous period pain and back pain then started bleeding heavy. I have been like this for 9 hours with not a break. Has anyone who had had proslap injection experienced this and does it get better?

Unfortunately you do get a hormone surge in the first month so things tend to get worse before they get better. If you're really worried ring the hospital. x.

Thank you for ur comment is this something you have experienced yourself and that is normal?

I was expecting the first month to be rather painful but it's the amount to blood that worries me

Hi. How you feeling? I' had my first prostap injection in June and 10days in I had what was like a heavy period, they said to expect a withdrawal bleed the pain for me was far less than usual and since I've been great with only the odd hot flush! Hope it settles and helps you. Xx

I feel awful to be honest. Having to take stronger meds to keep pain at bay. The bleeding is still quite heavy.

It's been only 7 days still my injection. I havnt had any side effects yet... I'm a very warm bodied person anyway so hoping that I won't notice the hot flushes... (I can hope lol)

How are you?

Have you had any surgery yet for ur endriomitrios?
