Period during laraoscopy

Hey just some quick advice...i have come on my period and im due the op tomorrow will this be ok?

It should be hun, i asked my gynae if it would be a problem as my periods are so irregular and she said it wouldn't be, maybe ring the hospital up and ask xxx

Yeah it's fine,I was on my period on my first laparoscopy, just make sure you tell them when you get their when they chat to you. Good luck! X

Surgically I think it’s fine, the doctors will handle it. It’s after the surgery that gets tricky. My period came on the night I came home from my surgery, I have never felt pain that intense in my life. I would definitely suggest talking to the doctor/nurses and ask for very strong painkillers!
