Nightmare period

7 days I've been on my period and nothing at all is on my pads for 2 days now but as soon as I go for a wee blood comes out in the toilet and also on the toilet paper!! Wtf is happening so stressed out now and very irritated

Is this to do with the prostap??? Or my actual period being stupid

I often get this at the end of my period. Nothing on pad but blood when using toilet. I think it’s just my period being stupid. I’m peri menopausal and not taking any meds for endo, still waiting for lap with endometrial Ablation.

Aye I'm normally off my period on day 8 but looks like it's just taking the utter Micky I'm getting so fed up of wearing pads ano lol there's a point were I get fed up and after 7 days that's just enough to drive me insane especially when I'm so tired

I know what you mean! Drives me insane too. I’m hoping the treatment I’m going for soon will stop all this BS (endometrial Ablation)to remove womb lining.

I'm still bleeding! It be 9 days tomorrow as well but nothing is on my pads I dont no what to do as wearing a pad is a waste tbh

I use ano this my sound strange but I use the always discreet boutique pants for my periods as they are very heavy but I'm so scared to use pads incase any heaviness happens again but 4 days I had no blood on my pads apart from friday and lil on sat nothing else since .....I find it a waste of pads etc if no blood shows on pad!

Those pants sound useful - I could have done with them yesterday when I leaked through to my trousers! I get so fed up with clearing up the blood all the time! It was like The Shining in my bathroom yesterday

Wow! Cant u get proscribed norethisterone to stop the bleeding! So far I'm still bleeding but not heavy just lite but idk what tomorrow will be like but I think ano more BLOOD......just no fucking end

I take Tranexamic acid and Mefalamic acid but it sometimes doesn’t work.

I’m really done with having a womb!!

Are you on a certain contraceptive pill? Have you been diagnosed with endo?

I feel your misery.... I’m currently on day 19 of a heavy period and two different tablets they have given me to stop it have yet to work.

For me the specialist believes it’s the contraceptive pill they gave me a month ago they claim hasn’t helped!

Not much help to you I know but I just wanted to share with you cause I understand the frustration and the upset.

19 days wtf! The only thing they gave me was the prostap3 injection on 29th august I started my period 7th September and currently waiting for it too go away it's been 8/9 days now and that's pretty long for me I'm tired and irritated so much now especially with wearing pads for this long cant get comfortable anymore too

Yeah now on day 21 it’s no fun!

I don’t know anything about the injection I always refused when it was mentioned just because I don’t like needles lol!

My suggestion is you may need to give it until the next time you are due on as the first month might be just a one off before your body settles down.

If next time round it’s longer again then I would get it taken out as it’s not working for you.

I understand your misery I’m normally 7 days of misery and I’m very sick of this!

The other thing I can suggest is that the dr gave me transamic acid to help stop my heavy bleeding.

When I came in early away from home I panicked and went into boots pharmacy they sell it over the counter. No other pharmacy only boots apparently so if you can get to one buy a packet and take them and that should help stop it. X

Transamic acid doesn't help with me at all and the bleeding is settling but more or less the consistency of what white discharge looks like ( sticky ) no blood is coming out neither on my pads for 4 days now only see it when on the toilet when I wipe.....I have an appointment on thursday about this as something has to be done also I didn't know they can take out the prostap once injected! 🙄 I'm going to wait till Thursday and if it still hasn't gone then god forbid my gp best sort it out or get me another gyne appointment asap cause I'm not having this forever hell no

No it doesn't hurt when I wee at all only its always been 8 days long my periods but last month I had withdrawal bleed from the 3rd august till 16th august then had prostap3 on 29th ....now I'm having my period still and it's been 8/9 days but no blood on my pads for 2 days only when I go to the loo I wipe and theres blood in the loo and on the paper

Only had prostap3 on 29th August but before that I was on norethisterone and had a withdrawal bleed from the 3rd till 16th august then had prostap3 on 29th
