I have been diagnosed with fibroids and a thick whom and the doctor thinks I also have endrometriosis. I have been in so much pain with my periods for years and the doctor has always Said I have IBS. The last year my periods have been lasting 2 weeks an more and very heavy with a lot of pain. I've been referred to hospital for a lapascropy which is happening in 2 weeks time. To say I'm scared is an understatement. I have had a lapascropy 20 yrs ago and do remember the pain from the gas. Is anyone else in the same situation or been through similar ? Thank you xxx

I have had two laps, May and July this year, second one was a TLH and BSO with Endo excision

Gas pain is bad, but take peppermint tea and walk around as much as you can. At least that pain will go over a week or so, unlike the pain you have without the lap- is it a diagnostic lap or are you having treatment too? Xxxx

Hi Judan

Thanks for the reply x The doc thinks i also have endrometriosis and said he will get rid of stage 1 and 2 while I'm under. I'm also having a camera in my whom to see if I have polyps because my whom is thick. It does seem a lot as I also have fibroids. I guess anyone would be scared. I will definitely try the peppermint tea thank you 😊. Have you got your results? I'm sorry I don't understand TLH & BRO XXX
