Laproscopic Surgery. Not sure what my findings mean. Can anyone help?

Hi All,

I'm currently sitting at home feeling sorry for myself recovering from my laparoscopic surgery 4 days ago although I do feel a little better than yesterday. Still trying to learn about endo and what it means for my future health.

The surgeon has written this in my notes, does anyone know what it means and where it means?

"Endometriosis stage 2, deposits of 2-5mm in the uterovesical pouch, both uteroscacral ligaments and both ovarian fossas. Deposits were excised and sent for histopathology rest of the deposits- diathermy done"

Any advice on what this all means would be much appreciated.

Thank you
