Morning, new to the group so hello to all! Diagnosed about 4 months ago but lucky that I have a mild form of endo. Since then taking the pill without the 7 day break has dealt with the pain. But now wondering about fertility - not quite ready to have a baby but at nearly 30 it's on the cards in the next few years. Am wondering if I should come of the pill already to see how bad the endo is without it at all (have been on the pill since 16 so don't know my body without it really). Would prefer not to as it is treating the pain and is also my preferred form of contraception. But if this might help me know my body better in preparation for trying to get pregnant at some point maybe it is a good idea? My understanding is that the pill 'treats' the endo, but in reality just 'masks' it, rather than actually stopping it altogether...

Come of the pill?
Unless you are hitting the time when the pill is a health risk, if it's working and you aren't having issues personally I'd keep taking it till you are ready to TTC.
Reason is that I think stopping the contraceptive pill after a long period of use possibly triggered an acceleration of my endo big time over about 18 months to the point where I had fainting, bladder issues, permanent chronic fatigue, bowel isses you name it. I then got diagnosed and discovered I needed major bowel surgery and vaginal repair. It's only my personal suspicion that the hormone disruption of stopping the pill gave Endo the window it needed but if it were me I would not stop many months before trying to be on safe side.
But perhaps others who have conceived have more pertinent advice from their direct experience.
