What next?

Hi

I had my first lap on Monday and got diagnosed with stage 1 endo and a bowel function disorder.

Feeling a bit lost since coming out of hospital, I've got a follow up with my gp Monday coming but left hospital with no info and being discharged from the gynaecology department....

I'm not really sure what to do next, I know it's a bit of a waiting game to see if the pain & other symptoms return and I've done a lot of research of my own but it just seemed like a bit of a quick fix??

Did they treat the Endo? Ask for a copy of your op report before your appointment so that you can absorb the info in advance and think about questions you want to ask. Stage 1 is mild or superficial Endo which is good news but the bowel issue might suggest deep Endo so get those notes to see what has been found.

Your follow up appointment is very fast.
