Can stress trigger 'endometriosis' pain off? Yesterday I've had a lot of personal trouble going on which was upset and since all that my pains in my tummy have become stronger and the pains in my lower back and down my legs have begun again
Stress and endo: Can stress trigger... - Endometriosis UK
Stress and endo
Oh completely!! Stress is a big factor in how our hormonal responses play out and how our bodies behave. I get more pain if I'm not in a great emotional place.
The mind-body connection is more important than we realise. So take care of yourself mentally and emotionally as WELL as physically. If, say, someone you love picks a fight - you can decide for yourself - is this worth the endo pain I could get later? I've just learned to leave unecessary drama at the door because it triggers pain for me too. I know that sometimes stuff happens which is out of your control, the one thing you can always make sure of is how well you look after yourself.
Take care of YOU. Make sure you get mentally, physically and emotionally rested.
Xx
I've not been diagnosed with it but I've had abnormal bleeding for over a year and pelvic pain and to cut a story short I'm wondering if it's endo I've had. Like I say I'm having personal problems atm and today my legs and lower back have been hurting and even just half an hour ago I got these stabbing pains in my tummy that made me stop and oh and ahh on the spot for afew moments
Yeah it's twice now I've noticed it. I'm due a hysteroscopy in 2 weeks my second one but I doubt that will get me anywhere
