So, I wrote couple days ago because I'm being referred for a lap..
Today doctors called me and because I have gone downhill quickly he is worried and is referring me to hospital tonight..
My Swabs come back clear so I definitely don't have a infection so now they worried too...
They found masses and fluid 3 months ago and have left me until now and now I'm worried it's got too far and I'll wake up with no womb 😢
Will they do a lap tonight? It's all going so quickly and I'm confused x
Hugs. They have to consent you before any procedure and be absolutely clear about what they will and won't do, nothing will happen out of your control. It will really help to have a diagnosis and know exactly what you are dealing with. Then it can be treated properly.
That sounds awful, but at least the sooner you are there, the sooner you get treated. The doctors will discuss with you about anything that may or may not happen and have your consent for what to do in a situation. My friend kissed goodbye to an ovary, you just have to remember that the gain from it is to be 'cured'. Any questions, ask the doctor before you go in and explain your concerns - good luck!!

I've got my operation next week, and so far I have avoided reading anything about it. I have a fear of hospitals, a fear of needles and a fear of operations (who doesn't, right?).
Despite all my avoidance, I've not slept well at all for 2 weeks. Intense nightmares, waking up in a hot sweat, and all time low mood. I think physiologically I'm still worried 😂 can't wait to be on the other side of this 😄
Bless you! I hadn't been given a date just that I would get a letter soon to tell me when the lap would be but today the doctor said I need to go hospital tonight ! In a way it's bitter sweet I haven't had to wait and worry more but just just sprung on me.. I hope everything goes well for you! X
