After surgery help!

About two and a half months ago, I had laparoscopic surgery to remove mild endometriosis and a 0.5in ovarian cyst. I am beginning to get the same pain I use to get right before it became horrible. What could it be? Could my endometriosis be coming back? Or can it be from exercising.

Hello, it has been known for some women to form endo soon after surgery, but it could also be scaring, you still also may be healing on the inside still or it could be from exercising. If you have a follow up appointment you could ask them, if not, you could mention it to your GP when you decide to see them next.

It could be endo or another cyst. I had a cyst rupture and a painful new one grew back soon after and was removed four months later.

The exercise, if vigorous, might be putting pressure on your body. Light, gentle exercise like walking might be more beneficial while you get this pain investigated.

You'll need a referral back to hospital and perhaps a transvaginal ultrasound scan.

Also, please try the endometriosis diet. It will help your body.

Good luck. x
