I am getting so mad 😡. I got told by my gp that the fertility doctor I saw would have to refer me to the bgse centre. 3 weeks after my appointment I chased them up and the letter says my gp has to refer them. Can anyone tell me the right procedure. I had to wait 6 months to see the fertility doctor Who was useless . Any help much appreciated

Must things the GP seems to have to refer you for its very odd I awaiting a hysterectomy but need to see a urologist and colorectal surgeon prior to it to make sure I don't have problems after and my gyne has had to write to my GP so I can be referred????? Seems so odd why gyne can't refer me to Dr in same hospital it has to go back to GP to refer on gyne behalf ???? Maybe write a letter asking GP o refer you then there's no confusion and you don't need to await an appointment can just hand it in tomorrow and chase it the day after 💗💗

Hey Hun I was in your same situation yes your GP is the one that has to refer you to see a fertility speicalist which is annoying because they are all DRs don't make any sense. Talk to your GP and hopefully u can keep calling the hospital for any cancellations as it normally takes between 4-6 months to be seen😩
