Hi ladies
I had my first laparoscopy 2 weeks tomorrow and iv been fine up until now iv had 2 days if nausea going a bit dizzy on first day hot sweats today is third day and today iv looked at belly button and it's gone red at the bottom right hand side.
What should I do? Any advice would be much appreciated xxx
Hiya it's been two weeks for me too, I went doctors on Friday for belly button as it's oozing and there is blood, she didn't prescribed me with anything, but booked me in for Tuesday to see nurse. They will decide whether I need it or not. I think I do because there is a smell and there's blood. Let's see what they say on Tuesday.
Awww bless ya oozing doesn't sound good. Mines isn't oozing thankfully just gone really red.
Iv got docs tomorrow so I'll get him to have a look

Hi i had a lap 3 weeks ago and towards the end of week 1 my belly button was red and tender i saw the GP and was prescribed some antibiotic cream it then cleared up within a few days. Hope you get sorted

Great. Thanks hun I can't stop looking at it im a bit of a nervous wreck about getting infection. I haven't bathed just strip washed since having it and showered twice at mums. Iv just been thinking nausea and now red can't be good. Doc will sort me out tomorrow hopefully.

Hey, good luck at the docs. My experience with all my laps(was long ago) that I also had redness, soarness. Once the smelly oozing. I also kept it dry, once I was allowed to bath I cleaned it with cotton woo and sterilized water. It healed itself
Hiya hun. Thanks for that see what docs says I'm starting to feel really unwell but can't out my finger on it just sick a bit lost type feeling and I'm aching everywhere. X
