So I had a lap done last year which showed scar tissue but no endometrosis. I have had multiple scans since then as my pain returned and they have shown nothing but polycystic ovaries. I just seen my gynaecologist following an MRI scan in December. He told me that it did not show any signs of deep tissue endometrosis but the scan could miss small deposits of endo. Would this definitely show deep rooted endo? He is suggesting that I go on zoldex injections as he thinks that my chronic pain is linked to hormonal changes. Is this possible for pelvic pain to just be due to hormones? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
