Is about 7days now from a laparoscopy and still covered my stichest with the waterproof cotton badge, so may I remove and wash and leave it like that. Please help

Hi Morommetsi, i kept my dressings on for 6 days and then removed and cleaned with cooled down boiled water and cotton wool and then kept it uncovered and mine are doing fine I'm 6 weeks post lap.

I removed mine 2 days post op as advised by the hospital I was in. Was told to just used the shower head - no soap- to clean them and pat dry. Haven't had any wound problems.
