where does the pain come from

does anyone actually know why endo is painful? what actually courses the pain? and why for me does it only last 3-4 hours a day then goes

According to endo UK website " in endometriosis the pain is caused by endometrial tissue that has grown outside the uterus. During a period, these endometrial cells break down and bleed. However, this internal bleeding has no way of leaving the body and leads to inflammation, intense pain and a build-up of scar tissue."

If there's foreign tissue in the body the immune system will attack it, that's why endo burst bro to mention the scar tissue, and adhesions that develop over time.

However if it is only happening for 3-4 hours, what time is it happening? Ladies with endo are more prone to other conditions to. If it's the end of the day it may be bowel related.
