Thyroid tests

I know that T 3 and 4 are the tests but I think I read there was another test docs don't do cause you had normal results on those

Anyone have normal blood tests and did a different kind to find out about thyroid ?

Or does getting a negative on T 3 and T 4

And further testing showed up positive

Or do most of you had a positive on those tests right off
