Just got back from a consultant who wants to give the Prostap injections a go. 2 lots of injections with a 3 month break inbetween. Has anyone else any experiences with these good or bad as I know nothing about them and would like to know people's experiences with it before agreeing to go ahead with them. Thanks for all your help

Anyone Had Prostap Injections?
I've had two 4 month courses of Prostap and it's the only thing that's helped me. I was lucky because I didn't have a single side effect and felt the best I had in years! I just wish it was a long term treatment because I'm on Mirena now and it's not going well

Gave me my life back, but only while I was on them. I had a couple of nasty months where the symptoms got worse but then I was virtually symptom-free of any sort. I will warn you then when I came off the whole lot seemed to get worse, but whilst on them it was brilliant.
I've just started prostap. My consultant gave me some time to think it through which was fab and gave me lots of advice. The coil etc didn't work for me. The pain is slowly receding but the hot flushes are a nightmare at work. I am prepared to go through with it though if it helps take away at least some of the horrid pain I am constantly in. I have monthly injections to see if it helps at first. Good luck x
Hi. I have been on prostap over the years 6 months at a time.this time I have been on prostap over 2years. It definitely helps. Am due
Bowel surgery and hysterectomy on 2nd dec this is my 4th op. Hopefully the last.
Prostap helps with the pain and you need Hrt to keep the menopause systems at bay.
Hppe this helps.
