I have been posting regularly on the site as had recent laparoscopy.I collected a letter from my doctor from the consultant which stated I have 8 week size adenomytic looking uterus.please does anyone know what that means.i have been so upset that it means I won't be able to have children.i had consoled myself with endo and it can be removed but with adenomysis I'm completely losing the will to live.

It means your uterus is the same size as a woman who is 8 weeks pregnant.

Although they can't really remove adenomyosis they can however manage it. And believe it or not there have been womb transplants that were successful in Sweden, where the women who were infertile conceived then carried the babies till full term with the transplanted womb!
