6 months since laparoscopy and I feel worse

After years (over 15 years!) I was diagnosed with stage three endo 6months ago following a laparoscopy. I had a cyst the size of a grapefruit on one ovary, and large amounts of scarring on other internal organs. They removed what they could including half my ovary. They also discovered cells which although currently pose no threat, it was advised that I either have both ovaries removed or have 6monthly scans to check for ovarian cancer (as I do not have children I went with the scan option). However since my op I have felt worse..... I am constantly tired, constipated most of the time, suffer with foggy brain, muscle aches, regularly have a hard bloated stomach, worse period pains and am pretty depressed. Has any one else experienced negative outcomes to a laparoscopy? Thanks

Hi,

I'm currently 6 months post lap and I feel worse too. I have more regular periods than I did before, but besides that my pain, tiredness, mood, digestion, bowel movements, headaches and so on are worse. I used to be able to manage a period and go about my day despite the pain but now it makes me sick, gives me more pain and sleepless nights. I really want to know if this is normal, I'm waiting on an appointment to go back to the hospital.

I'm 23 by the way, I had stage 1/2 at my diagnostic lap in October 2016 and it was removed with diathermy.
