If you've read my previous posts you'll know that a week ago I was having abnormal brown/pink discharge accompanied with intense pains. In relation to that I had a doctor's appointment last Thursday, were they have done a swab to see if infection could be causing it, and if not they would send me back to see my gyno.
However since having the swab I've had this abnormal bleeding which started off light but has become heavier and heavier with each passing day, so heavy that I've had to start changing pads up to 5 times a day and I've occasionally felt light headed and woozy! The pain is still there, and it's nowhere near the time to expect my monthly period.
I brought forward my next doctor's appointment for the results of the swab to tomorrow morning, as the bleeding is terribly worrying and getting difficult to live with. Could my endo be causing such dramatic bleeding or could it be something bigger to worry about...so depressing living with all of this and you can't help but worry something is terribly wrong. Has this happened to anybody? Or any advice?
Any advice to greatly appreciated!

That is not normal. My experience of endo is severe pain and severe flooding even on treatment BUT I don't seem to be too typical.
I also don't have a regular period, just whenever the body goes off on one so that could be up to 20 days out of the month if I'm stressed/ill/exhausted or as little as 2-3 days in the month.
What I would say is that if you don't already, start taking good quality multivitamins with iron every day. You will be getting short on iron losing more blood than usual and this will be making you feel rotten. Personally, I take cod liver oil, multivitamins, iron, vitamin C, magnesium and vitamin D daily and I have noticed a huge difference in the way I feel since taking them.
I hope you manage to get sorted soon, I understand how you feel and it is completely disabling living like that.
Hi ladies thankyou for your replies. I went to my doctors appointment this morning and was sent to my nearest emergency room as my doctor, like you both, said this about of bleeding isn't normal.
Unfortunately it came to no outcome, with the nurse saying that there is nothing they can do and I just have to let it stop by itself. Can't help but feel like I wasted their time, and one nurse made that quite apparent by saying if I wasn't pregnant and their was no chance of miscarriage then I shouldn't have come.
Feel like endometriosis is taken for granted and people do not understand that it can take such a tole on someone's life. And I feel depressed that I still have no idea why I'm bleeding so much, but I'm just expected to live with it.
Thank you both for your advice though really is appreciated x
