Presacral neurectomy

Hi everyone

Been a while since I posted. Has anyone had presacral neurectomy? Has it helped or not? My gynae thinks I will benefit from this as I have Endo, adenomyosis and interstitial cystitis. I'm willing to try anything at the moment as so fed up of being in constant pain and feeling like a zombie living on codeine, tramadol and morphine everyday. I just want to feel better even if it's just a little.

I'd never heard of presacral neurectomy until my gynae consultant suggested trying it. He did say not many consultants do the surgery as it's near major blood vessels but he's a fabulous consultant so I trust him. Just wanting to know if it's helped anyone?

Just want to get this post back to the top to see if anyone has had the presacral neurectomy? I'm a bit concerned as nobody has replied which might mean nobody has had it. My consultant did say only a hand full of consultants do this and he has only done it a couple of times as it's near all the major blood vessels.

Any advice would be fab xx

Try posting your question on facebook. The SAFE endo site, its part of Endometropolis facebook page. There are many more people from all over the world and someone may have experience of this. Also the sites are run by endo specialists. Usually they have heard of even the most rare cases xxx

Thanks for the reply hun. I'm not on Facebook I came off it a while ago. I'll see if anyone replies on here and if not I guess I'll just have to go for it and see how it goes. Thanks hun xxx

I know a few of you are following this post so I just want to update. I am booked in for the presacral neurectomy a week tomorrow. I will post afterwards to let you know if I found it beneficial.
