Recall letter...

So I had my lap in September and discussed with my hospital consultant what the next steps were.

I have now had a second urgent recall letter from the drs with regards to gyno ..

What does this mean?

I'm thinking just to check up on me but surely not if I am still with the consultant?

Any feedback would be great, thankyou.

I have bloods done often and when there's a change in them I used have a letter from gp to discuss this.

It would say 'not urgent but contact your gp to arrange an appointment'' is this what it says?

Gp can discuss gyne issues with you if they have sent him a letter /advice.

I used worry cos then I'd have wait for appointment .

But my mum who used work in the hospital as a support nurse reassured me that if it was urgent you'd know asap.

As a doc one saw some one's urgent bloods and sent the police and a ambulance at 3am to collect a patient from her home.

Try not to worry and call doc's today. Receptionist can tell you what is regarding if you bug her enough on phone whilst making appointment.

Take care hugs xxxx

I've had this before and for me it was just simply my gp wanting to know how i was getting on and making sure i understood everything from gyne because one day u will get discharged from gyne and your gp will look after u so u need to keep them in the loop. xx
