Is it alright to use tampons whilst bleeding with endemetriosis as if going out I need both or does it agrivate it

Hi, yes it's totally fine, as long as you are OK with them, and don't find them too uncomfortable.

I was diagnosed with endo about four years before I began using tampons (my mother scared me about them!) and actually found them very helpful - if I was very heavy and going out, I'd put a tampon and a sanitary towel on just to be on the safe side....on the whole though I had no problems using them. I know some find them uncomfortable but it doesn't affect your endo as far as I can tell..
