Lap tip

Hi,. For all you out there about to have laps, you may find this tip useful. When I had my second a I asked for a smear test at the same time as I find them very painful, so much so I had to have them done at the hospital as gp was unable to do it as it was too painful. My surgeon was happy to do one while I was under anasthetic for the lap anyway. If any of you have trouble with smears because of the pain and you are due one in the next few months then I'd suggest asking the surgeon to do one whend you gave the lap.

That's a fab idea. I struggle with using tampax at the moment never mind a smear. I'll remember that if I need another lap xx
