Hi, would you be referring to the butrans (morphine) patches by any chance?

Unfortunately yes I did quite early on but they werent much help after the first couple of weeks. And then came the side effects, I had hot flushes, horrid mood swings, awful dreams and rapid loss of appetite and eventually had two episodes of hallucinations. I discussed this immediately with the pain management specialist and was weaned off them gradually over a month by lowering the dose slowly.

I hope it helps x

No they didn't help me at all. No painkillers worked on me.

Your welcome, sorry that I couldn't be much help. I tried so many pain medications and non of them worked on me, the only thing that helped me was having an operation.

I've been where you are a year ago. All my insides were stuck together and the pains were terrible. NHS docs didn't help me so I had to go privately and the surgeon there told me how bad my insides were. The NHS docs didn't even tell me that my insides were stuck together.

I had an op last year November, I'm still recovering but I feel so much better. I'm still having issues with eating solid foods and opening my bowels after eating certain foods which I try to avoid.

I've been diagnosed with celiac disease now and have to watch what I eat and how I prepare my foods when I eat.
