Im new to this group and was only just diagnosed on monday following a lap..consultant told me i need an mri and possibly another lap with other surgeons. I have been trying to concieve my 2nd child now for 4 1/2 yrs. Has anyone been successful in concieving following surgical treatment and how long did it take?

Hey hun i take it ur either inverness way or maybe aberdeenshire/moray? Im new to this group i just joined and searched folk near me. We r trying to concieve our first child and have been since dec 2014. I havent been diagnosed with endo yet but ive just been referred to gyne by my doctor as they now thik its what i have. Ive had so many bloods taken over the years. Trouble concievinf, problems with bowel and bladder got told i had ibs. About 5 years now ive been back and forward. The pain is getting worse im sore nearly everyday on and off but im uncomfortable 24/7. Im 20 stone stm so trying to get weoght off just joined sw last night. How are you doing? I know your post is old so just thought id ask if u have concieved ur 2nd yet and how is ur endo st the moment? X

Yes i am in the inverness area. We still havent conceived and been told by my gynae consultant that our best chance is ivf however i feel the stress that would put on me and our relationship would be too much as it would need to be private. I am stable at the moment pain wise and remain on pain managment rather than any hormone treatments. Good luck and if you want a chat or someone just to listen im always here.
Im not far then im in forres. Aw im sorry to hear that hun its hard and stressfull isnt it. Oh u have to go private because its your second? You ever thought about adoption if u dont go through with ivf? Heard a lot of women on instagram who have endo still concieve. Maybe try some herbal treatment? Agnus castus is good o just started it and the first month trying it i ovulated at a normal time through the month cus i was ovulating way too far past normal.my cycles are like 35 days long. I was sore today cooking dinner n had to stop n hold on to the counter felt like someone was pulling my ovaries thru my abdomen..so annoying that it just comes on randomly i swear people must think im weird i have to say its ok its normal n they look at me like ...no its not lol. I have a trying to concieve account on instagram its helpful. Private no pics of us or names so no one knows its me n the ladies r helpful if u have an account let me no ill follow 
Hey, I had 4 ops, 2 major and a few rounds of prostap. Came off the pill and conceived almost straight away, had a few mc but now six months preg so almost there. I have no idea what level my fertility was prior to surgery as we hadn't tried before - we had about 5 years of hospitals and one op after the other so kept having our plans delayed.
I will say I was also on the Endo diet, lost 3 stone, went to weekly acupuncture with a fertility specialist, did bbt tracking and every other fertility method under the sun, plus both of us gave up alcohol completely and were on pregnacare vitamins!! So god knows what worked!

Also try weight watchers app - I found it amazing dropped from circa 15-16st to under 11!
