So fed up at the moment. In so much pain with my stomach, and it's so bloated and uncomfortable. I try and rest as much as possible in between my job and running a home and looking after my family and looking for a new house but sometimes realistically it's not possible to just and rest. How does every1 else cope? Lisa xx

You poor thing, I no the feeling, I'm hopefully on the road to recovery after giving a hysterectomy 4 weeks ago, for adenomyosis, and excision of endo,

I must say Iwas finding it very hard to juggle and get things done, I had to give up my job at the end, I was in daiy pain and excruciating pain every 20 dys, felt sick and so so tired all the time,

May I ask what you have and what treatment you have had, ?

I think there are things you can try, ie diet, supplements, different tablets, ect

It you can give abit of background, people might be able to come up with a few things that you might not have tried

But just try to get a good night sleep and increase your good food intake and if possible try a little excercis,

Xxx

Heya. I was diagnosed at 20 years old. I had a pre sacral neurecotomy and endometriosis excision. I was still in pain after the op so went for a 2nd opinion and had another laparoscopy where I found my bowel is joined to my pelvis and my left tube is blocked. They don't wanna operate now as they wanna give me a hysterectomy but I have refused it atom as we are trying for a baby threw IVF so at the moment I am a bit stuck.

I had a coil but my GP put 2 instead of 1 so that caused me extra pain so my consultant removed them that's when they found 2. I am strong medication which are gamapettin, dyhydrocodine, butran patches and oral morphine and amatrypiline.

I have tried the endometriosis diet but that didn't work for me. I try and go to the gym for regular exercise and eat a healthy diet ( my husband is a nutrionalist) so tells me what is best.

I bleed so heavy each month that I have to wear 8 sanitary towels and change them every 30 mins and then I still bleed threw to my trousers. I usually end up at the doctors or hospital cuts I'm loosing so much blood but they just give me tablets to try and slow the bleeding down and that is as far as I ever get. I have a lot of big clots as well.

Endometriosis runs in my family- my nan had it, my aunt had it and got cancer with it, my mum had it and now I have it.

Gets me so down at times. Im due on now and I'm dreading it. Having to go to work and deal with try a not bleed everywhere as well as keeping the pain at bay. I can't take morphine on duty as I have to give residents medication so can be on strong medication myself when on duty. I usually have to take 2-3 days off work sick during my period until the bleeding has slowed down, but during the whole month I usually have to take 4 days off on top of the 2-3 days when I'm on cuts of the pain.

I just don't no really what else to do.
