Ive got an appointment at the hospital on Wednesday to see the Gyno.

I'm just wondering how long you were waiting from appt to having Lap?

Think I was lucky but saw Consultant 9th May and had diagnostic lap last week - 23rd June.

Thank you, I was expecting about 6 weeks. I start Uni in 8 weeks and would like to get it done before then.

I don't remember waiting too long for my diagnostic lap with regular gyne but for my surgery with a BSGE accredited endo centre I was on the wait list for nearly a year at one cebtre before being transferred to another where I waited a another few months! Good luck! xx

I'm waiting for specialist appointment and his secretary said to me that waiting time for lap after my appointment will be more than 18weeks for this particular endo center.

Hope that you will been seen quicker

wow 18 weeks. Fingers crossed you get seen quicker!

I don't think they understand that it is so debilitating. Even a diagnosis takes a tonne of your mind. At least we can start to try to live out lives normally, knowing what is causing the pain etc.

I saw my specialist on Friday last week and he has told me about a month but I am not holding my breath.

I have had my Gyno appointment today.

I have to go back for another scan in 2 week. Then they are referring me to have Lap.

Fingers crossed I can have it before Sept uni start date or in Oct hols.
