Hi my endo is cyclical and affects my walking so i've swiped my bf dads crutch to help me walk. It help me if i need to have a change of scenery. My bf has to help me sit up, stand up or move from sitting to standing etc. I'm hoping that is behind me for a while after my 2nd lap in may. I use a tens machine to help with my leg pain and it does help for me. Hope this helps. Julie

I need to get help to stand and all that too! Even get dressed because that's hard for me to do! I have crutches in my house so may give them a try and see if they help me any. Thanks for your advice

Hi Lindle

I've asked to be reffered to a specialist to be seen. I have a wee diary that I keep note of everything to do with my condition and have read up lots about it also. So hopping to be seen at the centre soon! Thanks for all your advice on here! I also looked at the pouch of Douglas. I may be sent for a scan on Monday so hopefully that shows up the problem

Thanks again

Hi Laurakr! I wrote something similar on another lady's post the other day. Just because we know that we have Endo we should NEVER assume that it is causing ALL the symptoms and problems we have, it could easily be something else. Please go and see your GP and have a good chat with them, explain the difficulties that you are having with needing help to sit up and walking. They should be able to refer you onto someone else for more investigations possibly a Neurologist or a Rheumatologist. Also ask to be referred to a Physio as well so they can assess you and hopefully work with you on improving these issues too. Take care xx

Hi I've been at my doctors 4 times this week. They thinks it's my Endo because it only slowly happens when my Endo is playing up badly. As my Endo gets worse I can't walk and I can't sit up on my own! Got doctors again on Monday so will see what they say then. Thanks for your advice I will suggest it to them xxx
