Hi, I'm 27 and just had a lap afew months back, diagnosed with stage 3 endo, although fortunately it wasn't on my Fallopian tubes so there clear, I also had a chocolate cyst on my right ovary (but fortunatley it doesn't seem to have affected my ovary), my endo is mainly on my bladder, bowel, peritoneum and I have lots of adhesions etc. I havnt had too much pain since the lap yay!! But i can't tell you too much, as my general gyno who performed the surgery gave me pretty basic info which was to start trying for childeren asap as stage 3 is fairly serious, and to take the pill back to back with no breaks until I'm ready to start trying. So am just waiting for an appointment with a BSGE specialist to find out more. I think every case is different, even if the same stage, it depends on where yours is and if it's painful for you!? Sorry I can't be more help, I would defo recommend getting referred to a BSGE specialist though, this can take many months but I think it's better to be under there care, especially with the stage that we are as it's fairly severe x

What's a BSGE? I'm seeing my gyno in a few weeks for my post op and I'll find out more then, wasn't really with it when he tried talking to me not long after the op!

It just means we have more gunk then stages 1 and 2. I had stage 3 removed last year and needed another lap to remove more this year. She said there was bunches of spots, so it grew back pretty fast. Many factors are involved in this. If they cut them out and all the spots they could possibly find, you stand a better chance of being pain free longer. It also depends on how fast your body decides to regrow the microscopic spots too. I am hoping I can be pain free for at least a year before it seriously grows back. But sadly, like my last year operation, I don't think it's very likely as I still have pain on the worst side.
