Pre surgery advice

Hello ladies,

I'm just about to have my 6th gynae surgery next week to remove rectovaginal endo and although I should be well seasoned at this I can't remember whether I'm supposed to stop my contraceptive pill ahead of it??

Something tells me I should so that my endo is not suppressed at all, can anyone advise?

Also if anyone has experience of this surgery and can give me an idea of recovery I would appreciate it.
