Do any of you ladies get this? I got told by a friend that I could claim this through my endometriosis. But the forms are things silly such as eating food? I know other conditions this may stop.. But there are no questions or things to answer that really relate to the symptoms endo causes?
Be grateful for replies x

I haven't done one myself but I was recently on a endo support meeting and they were talking about this. The advice was that you need to fill these forms based on how you are on your worst days. So for example if in your worst day you struggle to walk or you need help making yourself food then you need to put that in. Hope this helps x
Hi sw1996, I'm Claire and have been suffering from endo for 18 years now. Endometriosis truly is a disability for me and impacts massively on my life. I get PIP benefit and, yes, it was a pain in the ar*e to complete the form's!! I'm only awake now because of the pain but have just taken some more morphine so hopefully that'll kick in shortly and I'll nod off again! What I'll do is log back on later today and give you some advice about filling out the forms and explain exactly what information they're after. I'm happy to help darlin, it IS a disability and I believe more sufferers should get PIP! Speak later, night night!! xx

My dad works for charity that supports disabled people in the community, and one of the things they help with is filling out and applying for benefits/ disability allowance ect. Through him I've heard some absolute horror stories about the struggles people go through trying to successfully apply for these things.
The truth of it is that because of the cuts they've started making it incredibly difficult to get benefits. Unfortunately it is the most vulnerable people who are affected the most, such as the disabled and the elderly, And one technique they use is deliberately making the forms complicated and long winded so that people get put off, among other things.
Luckily, there are many charities such the one that my dad works for who have trained staff to help you fill out these forms and get the support you deserve. There should be one in your local community. If you're struggling with the form or don't know what to write, you should def think about contacting one of these organisations and making use of their knowledge.
Hi ladies yes I claim pip for endometroisis is wasn't a easy process but I got rewarded top rate for both. I can't work as it's on my spine, bladder, bowls, I'm literally bedridden for 10 days. It took a lot of fighting the first time they said no to me and I gave up the second time i was not going down without a fight, I had my assment at home as told them I couldn't hardly walk within 2 days they awards it. Keep fighting ladies!
